Experience: I’ve been playing for a little under 3 years, with a few small breaks sprinkled in here and there

Time zone/Availability: I’m free mon-sat anytime after 7:30 PM EST

Play style: I prefer a more casual, lighthearted style of game with a few serious moments thrown in to spice things up every once in a while. Though I’m perfectly okay with darker themes, as long as it’s not just gore and angst constantly. I’m normally the one that takes up the role as the face of the group, as I love roleplaying and haggling with NPCs is my specialty. I apologize in advance for that. If the DM allows it I normally even roleplay spells like viscous mockery, charm person, and hideous laughter. It’s all about the flare and having an excuse to insult my enemies, after all. But I still like to make sure everyone gets their time in the spotlight, so I promise I won’t be taking up an hour just to RP with the jewelry store owner for a cheaper price. I love character bonding and interactions, in fact it’s my favorite part of dnd. I really want to feel close to the group I’m fighting hordes of goblins with, so a minimum of 10 minutes to learn everyone’s favorite color is very important to me. I adore world building, especially when the world is fleshed out with familiar towns, lore, and NPCs that survive long enough to become friends with. In terms of classes I generally play support/tanks, but I’ve really been wanting to play a rogue lately. Though I’m completely fine with picking my class over what would fit the party comp best. Oh, and I’m also familiar with Roll20 if that’s what you choose to hold the campaign on, but I’m perfectly fine with learning to use a different site/method! <3

I don't have a group unfortunately, but you and I are very similar in play style. I'm looking for a group as well and I definitely lean on the RP heavy side. Connections with the other players are the BEST. I also end up becoming the face of my groups because I enjoy RPing more than other people I've played with. Which super bums me out because all I want is fun RP moments between characters. I *finally* found a group that had a couple of RP heavy players and it was so much fun, but then covid hit and put everyone in a frenzy and the group fell apart. I was so bummed out. I've been hunting for another campaign to join locally, but most people in my area apparently are more interested in combat and dungeon diving (which is still awesome! Just not the only thing I want to focus on.) So I've branched out to searching for a group online. 
I hope you are able to find a group that suits your needs! If you ever decide to create your own little group and find a DM, hit me up haha. Playing with like-minded people would be so great. Then I won't feel like I'm trying to force RP between other players XD

I know right? The exact same thing happened to me. I finally found a great group last year but due to covid we weren’t able to play as often and eventually just stopped, which is completely understandable of course! But still, It’s truly heartbreaking. And of course! I’m not the best at actually setting up groups, but if I ever do I’ll make sure to tell you <3 But until then I really hope you’re able to find the rping group of your dreams as well! :)
