Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New Location/Timezone: EST/ GMT-5 Availability: Weekdays after 8pm, weekends Preferred role: Player Game style: mix of RP with some combat. Prefer to play casters, but willing to branch out if needed.
Hello, I am a queer 29 year old looking for a friendly group to play with. I have played a few games before and have a good understanding of the basics, but do not currently have a group to play with. While fairly inexperienced I do learn very quickly and I am extremely organized when it comes to gaming in general. I am not interested in play by post. I would prefer to play either a cleric, druid or a wizard but I am open to other classes. I do have a few character idea's ready.
Just some more details about me in case it helps. My name is Shelby, I am 29 years old and use both She/Her and They/Them pronouns interchangeably. My discord is mintsnow#3214. I can be a bit awkward at first, but warm up quickly and I tend to get along with most people. I work in research and development for a small company, making items for the automotive, medical, construction and automotive industries. I am working on getting a masters degree in mathematics with a specialization in applied statistics. My classes are typically in the evenings or early afternoon as most of my classmates are teachers.
I enjoy crafting, playing video games and listening to music in my free time. I have always loved fantasy novels, being a huge fan of Tamora Pierce and Ursula Le Guin. My favorite video games are the Mass Effect series, the Dragon Age series, Horizon Zero Dawn, Fire Emblem (I have put over 400 hours each in Awakening and Three Houses) and Legend of Zelda. I mostly listen to punk, melodic hardcore, pop punk and alternative music, with some show tunes thrown in. I am an avid quilter and enjoy making bags and other useful items for those I am close to. I can also knit and crochet, but do not have the time to devote to large projects in these formats at the moment.
