We are two relatively new players looking for a group to continue our characters we created for the curse of strahd campaign because we really liked our characters and the comradery. Our group stopped right after meeting madam Eva and the vistani so our working story is that the vistani were just so fun that we decided to join them and leave barovia with the caravan to see the exciting country of (insert your country here)
brief backstory Lunk is a dragonborn barbarian who ventured out from his farm to be the best at fighting and joined a pirate ship that he then immediately sunk by accident washed ashore and was saved by a mouse that he lovingly names mic mouse and goes to the bar to meet his new friend gimble at the tavern Gimble is a gnome rogue who grew up on the streets after being accidentally left behind. He used his skills as a tinkerer to make his way into a guild but likes to travel from place to place. He stopped into a local bar and immediately hit it off with Lunk. They've been friends ever since.
Gimble and Lunk continue on from there and Lunk finds a new passion for juggling while Gimble finds his acrobatic skills from a life of stealing materials to tinker with come in handy often.
