Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 5 Years DnD; 14 Years RP Location/Timezone: EST (GMT -5) Availability: Friday/Sunday Afternoons or Evenings. Available weekday evenings for now, but subject to change. Preferred role: Player Game style: I enjoy character interaction and noncombat solutions to problems, but I nerd out at interesting, well constructed encounters too. Not much for min-max styles of play; I find working around characters' weaknesses is much more fun than being a powerhouse.
So, uh. Howdy.
My name's Taq -- you can call me Tyler of you prefer. I'm twenty-six years old and I've been playing DnD since 2015 and roleplaying since approximately the Mesozoic Era. I was introduced to tabletop with DnD 3.5e when one of my friends invited me to a Hoard of the Dragon Queen module. I played a heavily accented human paladin and everything was super awkward and I think I wanted to die. I got better. Nowadays I am exactly no better at speaking in a French accent but I am a great deal more comfortable making a fool of myself at the table whilst trying to do so.
Anyways, I enjoy throwing myself into the game world and will ask four thousand lore questions before I am satisfied with my backstory. I find myself drawn toward playing fighters or paladins -- I enjoy being the meatbag in the thick of battle -- but I'm not particularly adverse to any class. Except Artificers. Those guys scare me. What else? I like unusual weaponry -- I've been meaning to have a character wield a khopesh but I haven't been able to swing it lorewise yet. I give all my characters theme songs. Human fighters aren't boring.
Also I don't know how to end forum posts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
