I have them successfully downloaded on my iPad Pro. When I try to open books it says "in order to open the book, you need to free up space on your device." I have over 100gb free.
Currently the workaround solution is: Fully uninstall the app (this will lose downloads/bookmarks). and then redownload - when downloading only do one source at a time and do NOT close the app/minimize - you must have the app in the foreground at all times
