Also the system showed a disconnect of sound (phone icon) that was easily resolved but is this a fault of the traffic from my wife on our MAC using Zoom while I using my chrome book for a D&D game online or do I need to adjust my settings?
D&D Beyond doesn't have a sound connection like what you're describing, and the errors it gives are different. You may be using a third party system and will need to contact them for support.

Error was “Ret 2” I believe.
