I purchased the complete bundle you guys offer, and when I see all the books in the IOS app, I see the basic SRD rules as an option to download.

Should I download that at this point, or is it just redundant, wasted space on my device since I already downloaded the core books and all the rest? 

Any reason why I would want the basics too?

You should download the basic rules, there are a few linkings that are only listed under basic rules so you may have the occasional issue otherwise.
