I've been using the app for a few months now and have purchased 14 books through it, with the last update some of my books are only shown through the website and not the app anymore. Is that how it is going to be now or is this a bug?

All your books should be accessible through the app if you own them. I'd recommend doing the following:
ppen the sidebar menu
tap My Account
tap your avatar to make the Customer Support option appear
select Customer Support
select Download Latest Manifest
restart the app fully
once restarted, select the sources option (three vertical dots)
ensure that 'Show Installed Sources Only' is unchecked (if it's enabled, you might see a blank space after 'only', you'll know it's off if you see an empty square at the end)
I did as you suggested and I still get the message "User already has a license for this product through the website" but I've purchased all content through the app.
