So there are some creatures that have resistance to non-magical weapons. So for monks that use there fists, are those magical weapons? Or no? Because one could argue that they have "Ki power" imbued in them while they fight. But one could argue that Ki isn't magic. So whats the rub, how are monks good against harder creatures.
You didn't read the Monk class did you? Their level 6 feature allows their unarmed attacks to count as magical for overcoming resistance to nonmagical weapons.
Be aware that it only works for unarmed strikes, not your spear, quarterstaff, or any other weapon.
I initially though it applied to martial arts not unarmed strikes. But quickly realized I was wrong. So if you don’t have a magic weapon at 6th level you might be better off using your fists

Ki-Empowered Strikes
Starting at 6th level, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
And yes, resistance means half-damage.
