So I'm working on a Way of Shadow Monk/Phantom Rogue Multiclass. I want to take the blind fighting style to use within the darkness spell Bubble and there are few ways of gaining the style, either with a 1 level fighter dip, 2 level ranger dip and the fighting initiate feat.
The class level combination I'll be taking is Monk 6/Rogue X, while stopping at max 3 levels for Battle Master fighter or Hunter ranger if I add either of those for the Multiclass.
The Character in my head is Shadowy Tabaxi hired killer type gent, that utilizes the shadow step feature consistently alongside a dagger(visualized as a punch dagger).
I'm trying to figure out which of these options would be best?
Probably the feat. Multiclassing is going to delay features, and the phantom rogue, while good, is one of the subclasses that really shine only with heavy investment.
