Hi! So I'm currently playing a 5th level sun soul monk in a homebrew campaign. My character was recently coerced into accepting a pact boon from a demon lord which gives me some benefits if I continue leveling in monk and extra benefits if I multiclass into warlock. Charisma is one of my dump stats (I currently have +0, but my DM is willing to make an exception to multiclass) so I would make an absolutely terrible warlock, but I'm still tempted to dip for narrative reasons.
I'm not too pleased with the sun soul abilities past 16 levels so I was probably going to multiclass anyways, but monk/warlock is so poorly optimized that I'm not sure that this is the route. Thoughts?
In case it helps, her stats are STR- 11, DEX- 17, CON- 15, INT- 12, WIS- 16, and CHA- 10. She has the anthropologist background and linguist feat. The pact currently gives her the benefit of the skulker feat, darkvision up to 60ft including magical darkness, resistance to physic damage and fear, and one casting of both Fear and Darkness per day.
since it seems your DM already has you going down the path of a patron via the Demon Lord, if they do let you multiclass then choosing spells that don’t use your CHA for saves would be best. I also assume it would be a fiend patron. Is the Pact also decided for you (blade, tome, chain)?
Having Hex can help with additional damage with your monk attacks. Though it does use your Bonus action to cast and move to another target. Then choose invocations that help you without interfering with your monk ability.

To MC with warlock you need 13 in CHA unless your DM decides to let that slide.
