Hi all. I have a 5e 2024 question — can a monk make a ranged stun attack against the flying creature? assuming yes, what happens to the flying creature once stunned, do they fall or just hover? Thanks.

If they have a way to stun at range, then they can do it. I know elements monks have a 15-foot reach.

Being stunned does not affect your movement, so they would not fall, and don't have to hover if they even can.
