Im in a dnd party of 4 adventures and our DM. I decide to play a Kobold Sun Sole monk because I feel like it would be a fun combination. Our DM insists that every time I use my Radient Sun Bolt, that I must be blinded for a duration of time because of my sensitivity to light as a Kobold. Shouldn’t my Kobold be immune to his own magic? Please inform me if this is logical of our DM or not.
Any abilities that create sunlight are explicitly listed as such for reasons like this, none of the sun soul abilities create sunlight, they just do radiant damage.

Thank you I appreciate the feedback!
Light Sensitivity doesn't even make you blind in the rules to begin with.
