I am in a campaign right now, where I have dipped evenly in monk and Barb to lvl 4 each. Mainly to grab subclasses and a feat and ability scores. I won't be going up in Barb anymore. I want to keep lvl up through monk for a few levels. And then move to warlock for at the most 4 lvls but min 1 lvl.
My character right now has gained a flaw do to a battle we just had. They now want to keep gold, gems and precious items to themselves if they can pick them up. In a way the concept is to horde it basically like how a dragon keeps treasure.
I have to make wisdom saving throws of a dc 14 in order to give items, sell items(unless they give me greater value), and if fails the dm let's me know what I can do instead. For example if something costs 2000, if I fail my saving throw he might tell me, you deny buying it or try to barter for half the cost.
So I want to add a little flavor to see if I cam curb my flaw by dipping into warlock.
Right now I am very unique on my build.
Monk is way of elements lvl 4
Barb storm herald sea lvl 4
Feat I have is observant to help with non combat.
Does anyone have advice on the idea or thoughts for the concept.
Genie Warlock for the Bottled Respite and the Vessel to reinforce the "hoarder". Maybe dip in Artificer if your DM enforces encumbrance rules and to make your own magic items. Bag of Holding for extra storage and the replicate magic item bag of holding. Add the artillerist subclass for a bodyguard to your stash. Hope that helps. Well done on the build it sounds very interesting and creative!
I also forgot to mention I am an assimar with radiant consumption.
Thank you!
Love the feedback! I hope to see more ideas too. And give them all to the dm and we cone up with one they also will allow. The genie idea I was looking into as well. I wasn't sure which to go with and the artificer idea is also cool I'll bring it up to the dm as well.

Unless your DM is hand waving it, do you have the requisite 13 minimum STR, DEX, WIS, and CHA to pick up Warlock?
It is an interesting idea though. Celestial Warlock might fit the Assimar radiant damage theme as well.
I indeed do have the requisite for the minimum to pick up warlock.
Oh okay another good idea too. Thanks! I'll look into it
Take Distort Value and trick yourself into thinking these things are worth less.
