I'm trying to build a character loosely based on the Marvel comic book character the Ironfist. I was hoping to make it as "legal" as possible. So no homebrew or UA material. I've toyed with multiclassing in Rogue, Warlock, and Ranger, with moderate satisfaction but thought the community here might have run across this or had some experience with the concept before.
Honestly, straight Open Hand might be the best way to go. Variant Human, +1 DEX/WIS, feat: Mobile, background: noble.
Point buy can net you 16 DEX and WIS, 14 CON. Stunning strike could be your Iron Fist activation, with Quivering Palm being the highest form of the fist.

Much appreciation.

He was probablly an open hand hand monk, but might be another. If you wanted to exactly recreate him go human, though I do suggest wood elf.
