*Since it’s your hex weapon, does the damage count as magical* Sylvan looks you in the face and stabs you with his spear.

damage 8
That would kill me, but since it was a critical hit I think you are alread dead.
Also no it isn't magical.
Than it doesn’t harm Sylvan because he is a werewolf and werewolves are immune to non-magical attacks
You can't mess with your player sheet to give yourself custom immunities, I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.
If you look at my first post, you’ll see I asked if I could make a non-playable race into a playable race. Lover said that’s ok. So I chose Werewolf.
Alright, I know that I said that, but the thing is that means that no first level character can ever hurt you, nobody here has magical weapons. I will not allow it right now, but maybe later in the tournament when people actually have the means to win.
DrakenBrine, dndlover did say to run your character sheet by him so he can make sure it's fair and I don't think he would let you have imunity to bludgeoning piercing and slashing damage at level one, since that makes you completely immune to anything that doesn't have spells.

But the other participant was under the impression that he was immune to your attacks, meaning that he might have played it differently if he knew that he wasn’t.

That was an instant kill. Sylvan could have just run up to the cleric and instantly kill him.
Yeah, he thought my attacks were magical until I told him, and that was the only damage I did to him all game so it's not like anything would have changed.
Also no it isn't magical.

Making a balanced homebrew race is different than just selecting human as your race and giving it custom imunities.

I agree.
Ask the DM if that's ok.

I uses to be dndlover_2.
Sure, post the link to your character sheet and dndlover will put you in a fight.

Does that mean I win?
Philippians 4:8
Since I was not completely fair we will have a redo, and do it right. Meaning that there will be no immunity.

Shouldn't I win because his character was kind of hacked but if you take away the imunity it wasn't completely unfair and I would have won normaly?
Philippians 4:8
Actually, yes this, because you just took away a perfectly good critical hit.

Yeah, he thought my attacks were magical until I told him, and that was the only damage I did to him all game so it's not like anything would have changed.
Philippians 4:8
Also he just ran at me and started attacking so it's not like he had a battle plan that he would have changed.
Philippians 4:8
Although, incidentally, that is a bad strategy.

Yeah, usually you specify how far apart you start but I didn't want to make it complicated.
