 Theren sighs. "Yeah well-" he is then cut off by a loud noise from the stairs as two children, one a tiefling boy and the other an elven girl, run down and behind the bar to Theren's side.

Theren nods. "The boy is Braden. The girl is Cecilia."

'Hey! You're pretty big and strong, aren't you? Tip for life, don't become a master thief if you wanna ever settle down'

The handcart full of fresh manure shimmers briefly and shifts form to become a pointy eared, almond eyed female wearing almost transparent silks held in place by silver chains so fine they could be mistaken for string. But most importantly is the sweet aromatic scent of exotic perfumes that wafts off of her, the diametrically opposite smell of what just preceded the transformation. "Yes, if it pleases you I would take pleasure in watching you sample the refreshments that are offered here, and perhaps you might find clues to that elusive book you've been seeking low, these many years."

The odd couple enter and while the man takes the table nearest the door, the scantily clad female goes to the bar and orders food and drink for one.

"Hello, can I have your best food and drink for my Shalafi please?" She gestures back toward the table where the man is sitting patiently.

 Theren nods. "Of course." he disappears for a moment before returning with elvish wine and steak and toast.

 The kids press closer to Theren who chuckles. "Sorry they are quite shy.."

A short young woman (Around her early 20s in Human years) wearing what seems to be a blindfold enters the tavern.

'Hey, anyone want a drink?' the Tabaxi woman calls out

She hands him a small slip of parchment with language runes written on it. The Runes read "Can I have a walking cane? I cannot see. I also am unable to speak, hence the parchment."

It is not a man, but a large, three-headed, four-armed fiend of unknown origin. It has mouths on its tail, stomach, and hands. Only the middle head seems to be intelligent. DC 20 Arcana or Religion to identify the fiend.

 The young woman stiffens up, preparing for something if the man tries anything.
