He grabs Ash and tries to pull her out of the window.

He looks frantically around for any way out

He tries to steal a set of keys from one of the obviously dumb guards. 8

Flint doubles over, injured by the blow. He then jumps over the chain and puts it between the guard and him, so that the guard will run into it and potentially break it or rip it out of the post. He figures the guard's strength could be put to good use
