Morning comes. Flint climbs out of the sewers to look for Meredith and Kymberly. He looks a mess. Without Ash, he would quickly revert back to his old life

Flint is in the Wolf and Rat, looking tired and stressed. 'Ok, what's the plan?'

'Ok, right. And you know how to do that?'

'Ok. I'll keep my eyes out, do a little investigating. That's sorta my thing. And I'll try to get his phone, but my sleight of hand ain't what it was.'

'Ooh, cool, what are these?'

'Ya know I need that. Because this time, I will not fail. I cannot fail. I heard her voice in my head last night. She's alive, but she's not okay'

*This would be a great time to turn Flint evil, but I don't think I will.*

'No. They blindfolded her.'

*Thinking how Anakin Skywalker was so affected by the death of his mother, and swore to be unstoppable so nobody else he cares for suffers the same fate. That would be an interesting path for Flint, but it also contradicts everything about him, so I probably won't make him take it*

'Ok. If only I'd been able to help her. I should have been stronger. The last thing she needed was Flint.'

*I might have him be tempted, but ultimately not give in.*
