“Oh hello, I didn’t see you there.” Ivis flies over to Okropnosc.
“You are right. That is why people should be informed of what can harm them.”
*by the way, they’re at the base of his mountain*
*Good to know.*
"I know that truth very well. That is my job. I must introduce myself. I am Orkropnosc, the Nightmare God. I create all the monsters and horrors that lurk in the night, and teach humans and gods alike how to stay safe and be considerate. However, my task requires me to be somewhat less of both of those than I would prefer."
He reaches out one of his many wood and metal arms to shake.
Ivis shakes his hand.
”I should probably introduce myself as well. I’m Ivis, God of rainbows, storms, freedom, and birds.”
The living nightmare begins to craft a puppet in Ivis' likeness.
"Freedom is a dangerous thing, but so wonderful. I've found that self-control is the only adequate safety measure for it. All others become amoral and thus ineffective fairly quickly."
*Oh no i was gonna make a puppet god*
”Freedom is only dangerous if people don’t know what they’re doing.”
Ivis plucks a feather out of his hair and crushes it in his hand. When he opens it, in his hand is a golden cobra with wings. It flies to a nearby tree and lands on a branch, watching the humans.
"Thus, we shall teach them."
Okropnosc makes short work of his task and holds up the puppet to his mask to examine it. "Striking likeness. But nothing can truly capture the likeness of such a god."
“You could use some of my feathers.”
"Thank you, but my mere existence is blasphemy enough without attempting to truly recreate the image of a god."
He looks up from his work, and points to a massive gothic city where the sun refuses to shine. "That is my domain. The Nightmare City. I live in the Signal Tower. My predecessors were very big on technology, so I capitalized on it and expanded where I could."
Ivis picks up a golden cobra with wings from a nearby tree that was watching his followers and shows it to Kila.
”what are the dog days? And i could help you make a gift!”
“The hottest days of the year.” He smiles and admires the snake. “Our days of celebration! Nedari and I want to show our people to celebrate with the giving of gifts. I want to make something worthy of him.”

The dogs yip. Perfect! But first, play! Fetch!

“OK… sorry I shouted, you interrupted my train of thought.”
“Oh sorry! I’ll let you get back to it. Did you need help showing your people how to use fire?”
“No, it’s not that, I’m thinking about my past… Where do you think we came from?”
Kila thinks. “I don’t know. Do you think it’s important?”
“I’m not sure… but I would like to know my past.” Fiabrath has an idea. “WAIT! What if Ilheia gave me a dream!”
“Maybe! Do you think she could see that far into your subconscious?”

Okropnosc looks around. He considers throwing his wand for a moment, then decides firmly against it. He reaches up and pulls a dying stick off of a nearby tree. He then throws it about 70 feet.

“Your predecessors?”
"My domain did not originate as my own. It first belonged to a god named Koszmar, then Zarlok, but both now inhabit the underworld. Then it was the home of many humans who were afraid of what horrors have been wrought, so they created me as a protector. Little did they know, while I am a protector, I bring not comfort, but a sword."
A horse drinks from a nearby stream, its mane shining in the sun. Tucking back wings of pale pinks with flecks of fuschia, the creature whinnies and then sighs. As it raises its head to gaze over at the other gods, a single horn upon its brow catches the light. Beginning to gallop, it approaches quickly before stopping, hooves pawing the ground and giving curious looks to the others.

Alignment is chaotic good and the domain is wild!
Ivis, a storm god with 6 colorful wings and a rainbow behind him studies the horse from the air.

"How did you come to be? Or maybe you just simply... are. Like so many other gods."
