A graveyard filled with yellow autumn grass appears.
From a towering, cathedral-like tomb in its core comes a figure dressed in dark robes. Autumn leaves fall from the freshly sprouted trees, knocked down by a chill breeze, and form a carpet at its feet. A gilded cup forms in its hand.
This is Koszmar, The Hunger of Baal, God of Harvest and Hunger, Neutral Evil master of the Grave domain.
A group of humans go to investigate the graveyard, pausing and staring at Koszmar.
The Hunger bows to the humans and waves its claw, pushing up some coffins, inside of which are fruit and mealy bread. They open and reveal their contents to the mortals.
The humans investigate and soon realize the stuff inside is edible, and a few of them start eating.
"I will teach you to sate thy own desires, if thou wouldst simply sit and learn." It lifts its goblet and pours wine into the gravedirt.
Some of The humans crowd around koszmar.
"First, one must learn to sow the seed and till the earth." It creates several bags of seeds and plows.
It then pulls the plow through some earth, tilling it (and also fertilizing it with god powers).
It then puts seeds into the earth.
"After some dear months, the seeds will take root, and they will grow into wheat. When that is done, come back to me, and we will make bread together." It creates a loaf of bread and offers it to the humans.
Several humans start to copy what Koszmar just did, while one takes the bread.
*do you want this to give you 10 followers?*
*Absolutely! Now the cycle of Harvest can begin!*
*okay. I might tell Dutch to put a part at the bottom of the rules to keep track of all the gods and how many followers they have. Does that seem like a good idea?*
There is a shimmering light that fills the air in wisps, like mist almost, as a young woman with hair that has the color and shimmer like the moon appears. She wears a long, flowing white dress, bands of silver around her neck, wrists, and ankles, and a lovely silver circlet. She carries a silver staff that looks like a mother holding a child in her arms. Besides her, two brilliant stags with white fur and glowing horns follow in her wake.
She raises a hand to the sky as a small world of her own begins to form from the ground upwards. Tree begin to grow, grass of ever green hue forms, plants bear fruit.
She giggles to herself and twirls her staff merrily.
