Firstly, this thread is created as a way to separate the Workshop of this idea from LCW, and it’s not intended, especially in its Alpha form, to be completely playable. Secondly, if you are interested in playing a version of this, try going to the Universe Canvas.

Here’s a rule set (wip) based heavily on UC (mostly just changing wording or limiting powers of creation):
You are a patron of the evil in a medieval world (we could use someone’s world or create a new one). At the start, there are 10,000 people who can be influenced by your evil. Your end goal is to be as powerful as possible, or for your alliance to be as powerful as possible.
Rules:
1. Please do not use overly vulgar language (such as repeated swearing or the f%&@ word). Wewill give you one reminder if this rule is violated.
2. If an argument gets out of hand, there are always PMs to talk about it so it doesn't clutter up the main thread. But just do your best to be respectful.
3. Please keep things appropriate and go easy on any gory details or any brutal actions. This also includes 18+ scenes or content (Fade to black/suggestive scenarios). We are not aware of the age of thread participants or how comfortable they are with it, so please keep things down and be mindful of these kinds of things. If you and other players would like to do things like this, please take it to a PM.
4. Please go easy on quote chains for ease of mobile users. If someone has very long chains, please let them know in a respectful way.
5. When speaking OOC, structure it like *this*.
6. Please put the name of a Stormlight Archive character in your first post to show you've read the rules :)
7.Listen to the Mods, (to be named)

How characters work:
When you make your character, choose one domain from this list. Your domain gives you more power over whatever that domain is related to. When influencing the world around you to do something related to your domain, you are considered 2 Patronic ranks higher. For example, an earth domain (L1) would have the powers of an (L3) when creating something that involved the earth.

There are 5 Patronic ranks of power. Each Patron is in one of these categories, depending on how many followers they have. Each rank gives you special abilities. When influencing the environment in a way related to your domain, you are considered to be 2 Patronic ranks higher. For example, an earth domain (L1) would have the powers of an (L3) when influencing something like a mountain, either directly or through your followers.
(L1) (0-100 followers)
you can change your appearance to look like anything you want to. You can teleport anywhere in the world 3 times a day. You can influence the environment in any way you want within 100 feet of you. All domains, like arcana and knowledge could also make spell effects, while domains like trickery, Order, and war could also create magical effects related to their domains. In addition, every Domain can bestow magic powers upon followers. For example, an order domain Patron could create an enchantment spell effect, a war domain Patron could create an abjuration or evocation spell effect, and Trickery could create an illusion or enchantment effect. These effects don’t affect Patrons. If you don’t know what would be part of your domain, just ask. Anything you create cannot be bigger than a 20 foot cube. You can create 1 rare, uncommon, or common magic item by spending 1 minute creating it. You can spend 1 hour making a very rare magic item.
(L2) (100-1,000 followers)
as (L1), but you can teleport at will and the radius for influencing the environment is 1 mile and anything you influence can be up to a 100 foot cube. You can also spend a day to make an artifact. This artifact, if you have it on you while fighting, gives you a plus 2 to rolls for fighting gods. You can only have 1 artifact at a time. If a creature besides you uses the artifact, it only gains a plus 1 to fighting gods. You can influence Unaligned creatures up to CR8 to be loyal to you and your followers, but no more than (Followers/10,round to nearest whole).
(L3) (1,000-10,000 followers) as (L2), but the radius for influencing the environment is 10 miles and anything you influence cannotbe bigger than a 1,000 cube. You can influence Unaligned creatures up to CR15, but no more than a total CR (Followers/2) and you can have 2 domains now instead of 1
(L4) (10,000-100,000 followers) as (L3), but the radius for influencing the environment is 100 miles and you can create things as big as 10sqf once per hour. You can influence Unaligned creatures up to CR20, but no more than a total CR of (Followers/2). You can also create creatures with your alignment that are CR2 or below, and you can add those to your Influenced creatures.
(L5) (100,000 or more followers)
As (L4), but the radius for influencing the environment is 1,000 miles andwhatever you create can be up to 50sqf, or 100sqf if it is related to your domain. You can influence creatures of any CR that are Unaligned or of your Alignment, and you can influence any amount of creatures. You can now have 3 domains. There can only be 3 (L5) at any one time. If there are 4 or more with 100,000 followers or more, a battle is magically forced between them until only 3 have 100,000 followers or until all but 3 willingly keep their (L4) status, but also can have followers over 100,000.
As your characters are Patrons, they gain power based on how many followers they have. Once every 24 hours, you can choose to either gain followers, or convert someone else’s followers. When you gain followers, you gain followers depending on your alignment and your Patronic rank. During your first post, you must say your alignment. You cannot gain more followers than there are corruptible humans.
If you decide to convert the followers of another Patron, you gain half the amount you would otherwise, (or, if the Patron you are converting followers from has less than that, you gain the amount of followers they have,) and they lose the amount of followers you convert. You cannot convert followers from a Patron that is more than 2 divine ranks below you.
Patrons can donate followers to other Patrons. The Patron donating chooses how many followers they are giving to another Patron of their choice. The Patron giving the followers loses that many followers and the person they are donating them to gains that many followers.
You may also choose to add to the pool of Corruptible Humans by sacrificing 1/2 of your followers gained for the day in exchange for adding 2 days worth of followers to the pool. You must PM a Mod when you do this so it can be added to the current count.
Patronic Battles
Patrons have a pool of dice that they use for fighting other Patrons. They have an amount of dice (D6s) equal to their Patronic rank. (example: (L1) have 1, (L3) have 3, (L5) have 5) when battling another Patron, you decide how many dice to use out of your pool. Both Patrons roll their dice, and whoever rolls higher wins. Battles decide who wins not just in combat, but also in scenarios where normal characters are rolling dice, like deception vs. insight, and stealth vs. perception. Patrons gain all of their dice back every 24 hours at 12:00 GMT.
Alliances:
If 2 or more Patrons agree, they can form an Alliance. Alliances grant all members an extra dice to use in combat, shared between them. If one Patron uses this dice, none of the others in the Alliance can use it until it is regained. In addition, they gain an extra amount of followers every time they gain or convert followers equal to 1 tenth of the amount of followers they already earn. Patrons in a pantheon can give other Patrons in an Alliance divine battle dice, which disappear after 12 hours (or 12:00 GMT), and the Patron that gave them gets them back. Patrons in an Alliance cannot steal the followers of another Patron in the same Alliance.
Current Corruptible Population- 10,000
The population of humans will increase every IRL day at 12:00 GMT and rules may be added or change. Have fun!
