A large, cloaked and masked figure enters the carnival. Massive, tusked, three-eyed faces embroidered onto his cloak in silver gaze reverently at passersby. Only his large, pale, clawed feet are visible under his heavy coverings, revealing him to be wearing wooden sandals with images of clawed hands woven into their straps.
His breath mists out of his monstrous, cherubic mask as he looks around.
A smiling satyr offers a hand, "ticket please!"
He reaches out of his cloak and places a ticket into the satyr's hand. The figure's claw is oversized and warped, with sharp black claws and pure white skin.

The satyr thanks them, giving a cheerful, "Have a great time!"
Kayla goes to the carnival, buys a ticket and goes to watch Xanax the illusionist.
The satyr ticket keeper thanks them as they enter the park, and in a clearing is the illusionist himself, along with a somewhat big crowd of townsfolk that have come to watch the show

In a grandiose voice, the illusionist welcomes them to the show, bowing as he prepares the first trick. With the flick of his wrist, he summons an illusiory generic looking paladin with a sword, and then summons another illusion of an ogre

Inside the freakshow tent are a couple of people already checking out the area. There's a a water tank in the center, a young lady who has tied several knots with her arm, an odd pair of a kobold and a goblin that seem to be conjoined, and finally an abnormally long legged gnome
Kayla goes to the carnival, buys a ticket and goes to watch Xanax the illusionist.
*Hey, Woods!*
*Hey Baalz!*
*How are you?*
*Great! Just chillin tonight. How about you?*
*Pretty much the same. Made a biopunk gwujad with a symbiote inside of him.*
*That’s sick! Is he a PC or an NPC?*
*PC. He's made in a mod of the 5e system called GeneFunk 2090. It's super cool, but kinda niche. It has 8 new classes, 11 backgrounds, and about 17 races, not to mention feats and modifications (like robot arms and genetic enhancements and such).*

Then, with another swirl of the hands, the landscape around them starts to shift into a large cave, gems imbedded into the walls

*Nice! I’ve never seen biopunk for 5e before.*
