“That makes sense. Would you like to have some coffee at the 2 Story Tavern’s coffee shop and you can tell me all about your career?”
"Oooo, sure! I never say no to some coffee"
Kayla walks back with Pekkan to the coffee shop and sits down with them. “By the way, what are your pronouns? I’m a demigirl, but mine are she/her.”
"Hmmm, I'm not sure. I guess she/they fits me fine enough"
“She/they, got it. I thought about doing that, but I think I identify too closely as female to identify as they. But that’s just a theory. I’m still on a journey of discovery.” She laughs. “Anyway, you should try the white chocolate mocha here. It’s delicious.”
"My identity is wider than what people call me, which I guess is why it's easier to shift between the two" she laughs, "Oooo, white chocolate?"
“That totally makes sense!” Kayla looks at them with admiration. “And yeah, white chocolate’s the best.”
They give a wide toothy grin as they step up to the counter, "Once you know who you are, all that becomes easy"
*sorry for the gap, class got hectic*
*No prob*
”Once again, I totally agree with you. You’ve gained a lot of wisdom working for the carnival.”
"You'd be suprised what you can learn there. Lots of physical stuff, and plenty of mental training if ta do the right things"
So spend your hours on What you think I've done wrong I know I'm in your mind I've been here way too long I want to spend my life With those who've done me right Your heart is frozen over I'm a four-leaf clover

Most people are afraid of sirens, with our magic eyes and mist and speech. I... don't like my kind. Or my family, specifically. *shudders* I left for a reason. I would give anything just to be a regular human, or elf, or anything for that matter.
Kayla hugs her. “I’m not afraid of you. And I hope someday you get your dream and become a regular person.”

A solemn noble woman of the east wanders into the tavern once again. Her clothes, normally pristine and shining, are in a mess, like she has been tracking through mud and dirt. She has the basic courtesy to wipe her shoes, but still drags a trail of mud from her robes behind her. She looks furious as she takes place in the booth with the eternal evening glare.

Juliet, staring at the ground, begins her journey over to you. She's decided her uniform needs some sort of armor plating. She's already got a tray of all sorts of things in her hands, including wine, coffee, cakes and rolls, and fresh juice. She wants to make this as quick as possible.
"W-welcome back. Can I get you anything?"

"Yes, a Dry Red and one of those cupcakes you like." Liyong answered as she looked at her mess. "And if you know someone who cleans and repairs clothing, I'd like their services."
"Right away." She quickly offloads the food from her tray to the table, and gives you a bow. "If you were so kind as to purchase a room here, then we would clean your clothes in time for you to get a 90% refund." She stutters, her voice growing quieter. "O-or I could get you an 100% one. Please don't hurt me." She looks like she's going to pass out just from being around you.
*I love this by the way, its hilarious*

Liyong looked at the girl and took out a strange coin made of jade. It was circular with a square hole in the middle, around it symbols in a far language. "Would this cover a room here?" She asked. She looked with icey glare over the pathethic girl. She hadn't even raised a hand to the girl yet, what did she mean hurt? Maybe it was custom to whip slow waitresses like she had seen done among the Efreeti.
The noble woman nodded and downed her wine, she stood up. She was not very tall at all, probably shorter than the waitress herself. She pressed the coin in the girl's hand and said. "Give me a room for the night."
"Th-thank you! Right this way." She leads Liyong to the corner of the cafe, and up some stairs, into a wooden corridor with a few doors. "You can, um, have the room right at the end. The rooms are part of the remnants of the old Tavern, so have some quirks. Just... make sure you have a picture in mind of how you would like the room to look before you go in." She gives you one last slow bow. "A spare change of clothes will be waiting in there, and I'll come to pick up your mud stained ones once you've settled in."

Liyong walked through the hallway, dragging long mudstains behind her. She walked into the simple room. She expected a peasent's room, so a peasent's room is what she saw. She closed the door behind her and exchanged her noble robes for a more casual outift, throwing her dirty garment's in a bucket. Not willing to wait on the slow waitress, she walked back into the tavern with the bucket in hand, placing it on the counter before the bartender.
Carl, at the bar, is confused at why you just put a bucket of muddy clothes on the counter. But Juliet comes to his aid, taking the bucket and nodding at both him and Liyong. "I'll have the clothes back with you within the hour."

"Oh, um, sure." He quickly begins to boil the kettle. "Any type of tea in particular?"
She considered. "You wouldn't happen to have jasmine?" She asked as she turned her attention to the near-empty upper floor. "I suppose the rowdy lot are in the basement today? Or are you just guestless?"
