Andy seems to be panicked, quickly running around the campsite packing things into a black duffel bag. He is in a human form currently, appearing as a 5 foot 11 Caucasian male, but with calico hair and heterochromia. He is wearing olive green cargo pants and a black t-shirt.
"It's a long story but I can try to shorten it." he continues to hurriedly pack, "So, years ago, I was a normal human. I had a family, a nice house, a decent car, and a well-paying job. I enjoyed my job, but little did I know it would be the end of everything. I worked in a lab, a genetic research facility. I was a security guard there, more or less high-ranked, which meant I was around a lot of top-secret stuff. In the lab, they had an alien life form that exhibited incredible abilities. It could shapeshift and could heal incredibly fast. Well, we took samples from it, blood samples. Usually, testing went well, but one day we tried to use it on a live specimen. It was a dog, in very poor health. Almost guaranteed it would pass on within the month, so we injected it with blood from the alien creature. And sure thing, it healed it, fast. But it also changed it, and a few weeks in, the dog had become one of them. This led to a large lockdown, and we realized that this could be very problematic. Well, I was part of the team that would secure the dog. It bit me. And that's where everything went to hell. Over the next few days, I experienced symptoms. Coughing up bioluminescent goop, difficulty sleeping, and lots of aching. Then it really began. They had me in isolation, and just as they thought, I was turning into one of those things. It was a long and painful process, I can tell you that, but it was also dangerous to everyone in the lab. Any exposure to fluids, a bite or scratch, or even just an open cut or wound would do the same to them. They saw me as dangerous, so, they we going to more or less put me down. I obviously wasn't in agreement with this, so I escaped. That was three years ago, and they've been hunting me down ever since." By the end of his story, he had finished packing up and slung the duffel bag on his back, as well as a rifle.
"Oh, are you a machine of sorts?"
"Kinda."
