I am still baffled to this day and from that experience started my journey into the unknown of the supernatural.

Two: As a Christian, I believe that there is a spiritual aspect to this world. There are angels and demons and they are in constant war against each other. You say that this has started your journey into the unknown and supernatural. Please do not try to explore this or contact any supernatural beings that you believe are around you. An angel will not answer your call, but a demon would love to and they desire your destruction. Nothing will be contacting you in this manner with good intentions.

As for the concern. I understand that there is basically no chance for a Angel to answer my call and a demon to answer said call. However, I myself have been investigating the supernatural for quite long time. I thank you for being concerned for my safety. I have seen and met people who have been harmed by malevolent things. However I refuse to enter any cases that involve things that are demonic. I am in cases that involve just the casual spirit moving things or child playing with a being not there. I myself know the dangers of my line of work and accept them I do not respect nor admire any being that seeks destruction I refuse to even see a case that involves it.

Small edit: Even besides that recently I have seen myself drifting away from the spiritual section of the supernatural. So you need not worry for I have been getting thoughts of no longer having anything to do with the said spooks of the world..

 You said that you only look at stuff like poltergeist activity and other minor phenomena. The thing is, that is still pretty dangerous. If there is anything supernatural about those sorts of things, it is almost certainly demonic in nature. Demons like to trick, deceive, and harm in any way they can and one method would appear to be something relatively innocent to draw attention and do harm in that way. Even the small things are dangerous.

Now, for clarification, it isn't wrong to read ghost stories and cryptid sightings, if that is what you mean by this. The majority of those things aren't actually real and are good for entertainment/story fodder. Even if they are real, it is fine to educate yourself on the subject. However, trying to interact with, seek out, or contact any spiritual being is a horrible idea, whether it appears to be a harmless poltergeist or ghost or something more sinister.

 I understand that there are demons that can trick us into believing they are spirits but I usually investigate minor things such as people hearing people that aren't there and such. 

And when I said the other side of the supernatural I mean Cryptids. I put Spirits and such in the same pile with cryptids.
