I like Slipknot (though they're sorta their own genre, being so unique, but they're Nu Metal if they need a category) and System of A Down a lot, though Korn, Deftones and Linkin Park are good. If you want Nu Metal to ironically listen to I recommend Limp Bizkit, it's so bad that it's amazing. If you've ever heard metal with fast or even rapping lyrics then it's most likely Nu, my favorite example being Chop Suey! by SOAD.

Disturbed is pretty good, I don't listen to much of their music, but what I have heard I'm a fan of.

Fender, it's a bit basic, but the guitars are good, so are their basses and amps. I use a Stratocaster, classic guitar, not many other guitars are so easily recognizable.

I have a hard time picking because there's Schecter, Ibanez, PRS, Ernie Ball Music Man, so many good brands. Unpopular opinion I don't especially enjoy fender. Doesn't suit my style or genre really

I understand, that's a reasonable opinion, it's not for everyone. My other bassist in my band plays an Ibanez SR300E bass, it sounds so good, and my lead guitarist plays an Ernie Ball, so I also understand that it's hard to pick just one brand.

Question for the day... Who is the best guitarist of all time?
That's hard, I like Billie Joe Armstrong, who is a guitarist, and my favorite artist, but not for his guitar skill, still he's -in my opinion- the best guitarist of all time, but that has little to do with his skill as a guitarist, his riffs are sloppy and simple (still good though tbh) but he's still the best (once again imo)

None. They're all good, some at some things and some at others. There is no best, only different.

Discovered a new music artist recently and thought I'd share.

They're an instrumental atmospheric prog metal/djent band, and there is some very heavy epic riffage throughout their music.
