6x=30 and then in a seperate equation 30+x=35?
Because right now I think it's saying 6x equals 30+x which is also equal to 35, and I don't think algebra works like that? Or it does and I just wasn't paying attention in class, which is very likely.
Technically yes, you should separate the equations to avoid confusion (like this), but the way it’s shown could also work, it would just require you to think about the intent and not exactly what it written. Pretty much, Diano wrote the equation wrong but clear enough to figure out what he meant
