It might not hit the same, but it's a lot healthier. And getting a good night's sleep, especially after a while without one, feels amazing! Even more so than finishing work after an all-nighter. If nothing else, at least try finishing earlier and getting decent sleep. If that doesn't end up working for you, then feel free to keep on doing what you're doing.
I have tried that before, and it didn’t work. Sleep isn’t very satisfying for me regardless of the amount I get, and it’s far more difficult for me to do work when I have free time, so finishing early is useless. For me to work effectively, there needs to be a certain level of pressure, or the work is unbelievably easy.
I feel you there...most of the way. Sleep isn't very satisfying, but it's still useful...and honestly, what's the problem with doing unbelievably easy work?
