There are two different variants so far: Honkachuan and Giant Otremban. Both have a focus on hospitality, sleeping and eating often (sleep 14-20 hours a day, meals every four hours).
Strugels from the frozen volcanic island of Honkachu are very small and covered in thick white floof. They are typically xenophobic due to their history of being taken advantage of. Their culture is focused on being a good citizen and has a strict, oppressive hierarchy and caste system. Elders automatically get the credit for their descendants' work while they live. They are very Frostpunk-coded, and they worship the spirits that arise from their collective subconsciousness.
Strugels from the steamy, divine swamp of Otrembert are very large and have naturally darker fur. They are more awake than Honkachuan strugels time-wise, but not activity-wise. For their size, they are much slower and weaker, but to reiterate, I'm saying for their size. They are roughly the size and weight of a bear, although the kind of bear they are the size of varies wildly. These strugels are much less neurotic, and they live with other humanoids, but they still have strong family units and brilliant craftsmanship. They are basically giants from Dark Souls if they were seen as equals by the humans.
