I find the idea of one multiverse to be unfeasible with all of the rules set by numerous franchises when delving into multiversal concepts so I propose the Polymultiverse, all multiverses exist at the same time but separate.

I have a suggestion that should give you a challenge.
Fighter subclass balanced against spellcasters. But not for damage.
For utility and control.
And it should allow for decisions to be made in combat. Multiple moves for different situations.
It should also still have a distinctly "martial" flavor, so no giving it spells and calling it a day.

The Battle Master shouldn't be the only subclass with options, in my opinion.

You will playing DnD stats corresponding to Pokemon stats
for example, strength will be attack, constitution defense, dexterity speed, intelligence special attack, wisdom special defense, charisma whatever the friendship "(Pokemon) toughed it out so you wouldn't feel sad" thing in gen 8
