Random question y’all, but if you were to make a video game, what do you think it’d look like?
Mine would be rich with worldbuilding and animation, maybe a more anime style, probably exploration or dungeon crawl, and characters you can switch between and a mechanics system. Maybe have building aspects like Minecraft but that’s very far fetched. Not that my idea isn’t far fetched, considering I cannot animate. Heavily story based. My art style is kinda anime kinda me, I drew my pfp so think like that.
Well that depends on how I’m feeling at any given day. If I was held at gunpoint and forced to pick one, it would probably be a RPG with a world inspired by Arknights, Guilty Gear, Blazblue etc. Kinda like red dead redemption where there is technically a story, but you could in fact just not do it and still have hours of content

remember the one time i made the character called Felicity? The little undead girl who sat in a grave? Well, I doubt it's a surprise, but she was actually created as a manifestation of depression. Moreso, my childhood depression. I was a very active, sunny kid, as was Felicity. Then, all of a sudden, some of that left me. I was still happy sometimes, and I still liked what I liked, but most of the time I was consumed by this crushing nothing. I would lie in my bed or on my floor for hours on end, not doing anything. I felt dead. Sometimes, the darkness would go away, and i would feel alive. But no matter how long that lasted, the darkness always came back. The mold and mildew would grow right back. Maybe that's why I keep making undead characters. Because it seems that each undead character I've created seems to embody a different part of me. Felicity, my depression. Valentine, the unfamiliarity of living with a disability.

Open world RPG with some sort of unique mechanic and cool lore. Either that or a Hero Shooter/3D fighter.
I have so many random universes I haven't expanded on in my head, almost all of which I think would make a GREAT story-based RPG setting.

Tana, Fry, Baalze, what do you guys think your games would look like?
Souls-like with guns and cooking mechanics, as well a lot of complex character customization and roguelike-style synergies that allow for ridiculous abilities and combos.
In addition, the game would have a sort of cozy-dark vibe where you are helping out NPCs and learning their routines. Perhaps set in a nice little walled city in an exceedingly dangerous world, so quests and combat are primarily to support your favorite NPCs in their mundane endeavors.
On top of this, there would be a day-night system where the game takes place over like, a week of in-game (and possibly real-world) time and everything (especially in the city) is recontextualized whenever the day turns over. New conflicts and events occur each day, but are standardized like in Fear and Hunger 2: Termina and Pathologic. Your actions have a massive impact on the world, and a lot of the replayability comes from exploration and finding randomly-placed loot.
I would also like rich worldbuilding and characters to take precedent over even story and gameplay. Make you feel like you're not just in a living world, but an active contributor to it.

It's the same character as before, but it's an AU version that I really, really like.
I’m gonna be offline for most of mid morning-mid afternoon this week :3 my school is checking out museums. Today we’re going to an aircraft carrier.

Heyo! You can call me Link. Here’s a bit about me:
Roomba Knight, Architect of the Cataclysm, Foxy Lunar Archpriest. Dubbed The Fluffy Bowman by Golden. He/Him
Theatre Kid, Ravenclaw, bookworm, DM, Lego fanatic, mythology nerd, pedantic about spelling. I also love foxes, cats, otters, and red pandas!
I love K-pop Demon Hunters and Korean Mythology. If you want to ask me about something, send me a PM!
I try to keep the peace and be neutral most of the time…
