Aig amannan bidh mi air mo ghlacadh ro mhòr an-dràsta...Randomly thought of a cool D&D character idea. Basically a species from the underdark, I'm not sure which one, that is essentially a blind light cleric.
Basically he lived in a very deep part of the underdark with almost no light except for a single orb that they sort of worshiped since it literally let them live cuz it gave off light and heat. One of the days that they were worshiping it something or someone basically shattered the orb, causing those near it including the character to basically go blind. The others that had gone blind basically abandoned like worshiping the orb while the character that I'm making, didn't stop, and eventually caught the attention of one of the light deities.
