anyway the hobbit movies are one short book stretched out into 3 long movies. They added a bunch of random filler stuff that was never in the book and it messed up the writing. also sir ian mckellen had to act the whole movie alone and talking to a green screen because they needed to edit his height difference in. it made him break down eventually

the battle of the five armies is my least favorite, mostly because in the book the battle took 3 pages. which was because bilbo was unconscious. instead of a cool army battle we just got a bunch of CGI nonsense and Legolas doing his Legolas things. not that the Legolas things weren’t awesome, but legolas wasn’t even mentioned in the book
