Had to explain to him that I would very much prefer for him to use the correct pronouns for my nonbinary character, and then had to argue back and forth with him that it's not that hard to call someone by different pronouns than what he's used to, and I get sh*t like "I can't deal with this pronouns thing", and "All my friends' pronouns are normal ones". Oh that’s a hard question lmao.
Honestly it’s all about confidence which sounds cliche but it’s really true. I’m also not gonna act like it’s easy to be confident around a girl cuz it takes some experience. Every guy has an eye opening situation or moment where they realize talking to girls is really not as hard or high stakes as it seems lmao. Normally after a breakup or smth. If you’re reslly struggling with confidence then just trust that that’s gonna happen.
As for when you’re actually trying to interest someone, especially girls, never talk how you talk with your homies. Let her talk about herself/ask about her first until she asks about you. Normally try to js be upbeat and nice to her and js make small talk at first. That nonchalant a**hole stuff doesn’t actually work. Also it’s good to have at least some big thing in common with her like a pathway class or a sport interest or smth.
Is there any specific situation you need advice on? It’s easier to help with that than jist general advice.

Honestly it’s all about confidence which sounds cliche but it’s really true. I’m also not gonna act like it’s easy to be confident around a girl cuz it takes some experience. Every guy has an eye opening situation or moment where they realize talking to girls is really not as hard or high stakes as it seems lmao. Normally after a breakup or smth. If you’re reslly struggling with confidence then just trust that that’s gonna happen.
As for when you’re actually trying to interest someone, especially girls, never talk how you talk with your homies. Let her talk about herself/ask about her first until she asks about you. Normally try to js be upbeat and nice to her and js make small talk at first. That nonchalant a**hole stuff doesn’t actually work. Also it’s good to have at least some big thing in common with her like a pathway class or a sport interest or smth.
