(I'm thinking like maybe invisibility he got from a Genie, and his problem is now he doesnt know what he should do, just live a normal life with a superpower or try to do some good or become a hero. Also no idea how powerful the average Joe is here. If thats a bad idea just tell me, I'd prefer the truth)
