Shade follows, three parts of the garden for each familiar. One is obsidian dark, reminding of Shade himself.

“I am a child of the reaper, who is a great astral being. Jason summoned me and I am now bound to him.”
“Were you willing?” They ask, slightly concerned.
“Very much so, among my kind I am a wanderer, I seek to experience all there is to enjoy. Jason has given me that.”
“Alright… that’s good. I’ve heard of people who use enchantment spells on these celestials or demons or whatever to bind them to their service, I think it sounds pretty mean.”
“Well that does sound rather unpleasant for some, but no familiar is forced into service. We choose our masters, I had met Mr. Asono before he gained me as a familiar.”
“Oh, well, how’d you guys meet?”
“I was trapped in an astral space and in charge of keeping a golden scythe.”
