*Yes they would, you drop to 0 hp whenever you take the damage, not at the start of your turn. So if you’re at 1 hp, a magic missile with four beams would automatically kill you by dealing the 1 hp damage to bring you to 0, the second beam failing your first death save, your second failing from the third beam, and third failing from the fourth beam. You also would be unconscious, which means melee attacks automatically crit you.*
