She sighs. "Awesome, actually. Dad was only my step dad, obviously, but they both acted like they were my birth parents. They let me do almost anything I wanted, unless if it would be bad for me, and loved me so, so much. They spent all their extra money getting me things to try and make me happy. I never needed any of it, though. All I ever wanted was them."
