Murphy is watching the waves and talking to someone through an iris message. 

Jonah is drawing in arts and crafts. 

 

 Sprout walks up to Oliver. “Wow, very aggressive.”

Alex enters, and is reading a book near where Jonah is working.

 "Do I know you?" Oliver asks, sighing. 

Jonah waves shyly to Alex. 

 “Nope. I know you, though.”

Alex doesn’t notice, still reading.

 "Oh yeah? Care to say more?" 

"Uh-hi Alex." Jonah says. 

 “Sprout. Brother to the idiot who trapped you in the tree.”

”Oh-hi.” He says, barely looking up from his book.

 "Ah... okay. Don't worry about it, they apologized." 

"H-how are you?" 

 “Ah. Sorry about that, still.”

”Good. You?”

 "Not your fault. Why're you here?" 

"I'm okay. Life here... okay."

 “Just to gather poisons. You?”

”mhm. How’ve you been? And what’re you drawing?“

 "poisons?" He grins. "Fun." 

"A fox." 

 “I know.” He grins back.

”Cool. Is it like- the fox people here at camp?”

We're probably never gonna get back to where we were, especially not if you can't eventually accept that I am finally happy... Please, just understand... I never wanted to hurt you, but I just... I need somebody I can trust."

 Hunter follows nervously. "Do we have to-uh, go inside?" 

"I'm glad we're not enemies any more. You kinda... understand, I think." 

He stares at them. "I've always put my head above my heart. It's the way I am. I don't think you can trust Fern, and if that disgusts you, so be it. If you're gonna keep acting like I'm wrong for what I said-for thinking that love should be about understanding, not-well, whatever this is, then I don't know if I'm sane or not and that's the worst feeling in the world. You did hurt me, you're still hurting me, I'm hurting you, it's a cycle. I'm not a beast, Cherry, I'm a guy who made a few mistakes-I don't know what I did that disgusted you, but when I scared Fern... I was just mad. I lost it. I wasn't trying to kill anyone-Fern ran away before they could even learn my intentions. And I think that's why I don't trust Fern. They're impulsive about their feelings, they're... so into romance over other types of relationships, they see themself as the good guy in every situation. And you know what that makes me. I guess I'm the bad guy." 

 "No, not at all" He sits down by the fire he's built, which is cold now *edge of the forest, remember?*

"I don't regret killing Omar, but... I wish that you wouldn't have gotten involved... And yeah, I know. I get it, man."

"I tried for so long with you... it didn't feel worth it anymore." they sigh and rub their face. "I've been really conflicted in the last week or so, Murphy. I hate that I hurt you, but I just... I got disenchanted with you after our wade in the water... Maybe I'm rushing things with Fern, but I'm happy... And if it gets to a point to where I can't trust them, then I'll leave. I know what I'm doing, Murphy."
