You can keep your title I’m doing this one for the love of the game.
Then I shan't. Mobile sucks.

Generally summon-focused subclasses summon one creature which gets more powerful as you gain levels. They also tend to be horrifically underpowered, unfortunately. What does the subclass do? What’s the vision?
A pierrot clown with an empty face walks in. Where the face should be, there is a black gaping hole of darkness. From within that hole, if you listen closely, is the sound of feathers flapping and insects crawling and frogs leaping and fish swimming and scales sliding and rats skittering and panthers stalking. Every now and then a small songbird flutters out from the frozen shadow and perches upon my silken shoulder or on the peak of my yellow, cone of a hat. My baggy suit is yellow with large, round, red buttons.
Howdy y'all. I was invited and thus granted entry. Now I've darkened your door and crossed the threshold. Rookie mistake. Lucky for y'all (and me) I wish to be friends and will gladly serve as a cultist. Since this is a cynophobia cult, I should probably bring my hounds.
who are your hounds?
The Fox Hounds my friend. The hounds of hurt and health who harm all who threaten hearth and home. Whose howls ring through the hollows of harvest and whose tawny fur streaks through rain showers of blazing leaves in the dying season. The hunting hounds of the Autumn King whose hunting ground is the Autumn Country and thus the dreams of death and fortune that haunt those brimming with age and empty with youth. They taste the air with their pointed noses. The blood of predator and prey churns in their veins. Quick and sly as foxes and ruthless and powerful as hounds. The Fox Hounds, my friend, those are the hounds I command.

kind of like an evolutionary chain first it starts at a regular wolf then dire wolf and then winter wolf but i also want them to be able to cast third level spells or lower from the druid list so i suppose to balance that i would make it so the wolves expend the druids spell slot maybe

I’m glad it does. I don’t know if anyone here would know where they were from but I had a thread called the Autumn Country and they were the Augustus’s hounds. Since Augustus is my creation, I can call them to my command.

You’d be better off making a subclass-specific companion statblock, though basing it off the wolf stats is a pretty good idea. Being able to cast spells through the wolf is also pretty good. Assuming it’s a druid sub, the 2nd level could look something like this:
Circle of Cynophobia Beginning at 2nd level, you gain the ability to summon a wolf-like primal companion to terrify your foes. As an action, you can expend one use of your wild shape to summon your wolf companion, which takes its turns directly after yours in combat. While your wolf companion is within 60ft of you, you can cast spells as if you were standing in your own space or the wolf’s space, using the wolf’s senses if you cast spells from its space. Your wolf’s statblock is detailed below.
[custom statblock]
Your wolf has a number of hit dice (d6s) equal to your druid level, and when it is summoned it gains temporary hit points equal to your druid level plus your wisdom modifier. It increases in power as you gain druid levels, as detailed in your later subclass features.
This is just a proviso, and the statblock would probably have some kind of ability that relied on you casting spells + a useful attack or a damage interception ability.

the problem with this is that the circle of wildfire has something like that for casting spells i believe

yeah 6th level it has this tidbit In addition, when you cast a spell with a range other than self, the spell can originate from you or your wildfire spirit.

This has a lot of overlaps between druid subclasses. Druid already has a summon subclass and a shapechanging subclass. It could be a summon-focused warlock subclass that combos with pact of the chain like how hexblade makes pact of the blade more viable?

I think the character creation rules said no partnered content. That includes Obojima right?
is obojima 5e?

Obojima uses 5e rules but it’s 3rd party content.
