The wolf tilts it's head
The octopus concentrates for a second, and its full form shimmers into translucent being. It points an arm at the wolf, then mimes strangling one of its other arms, then points an arm at itself. "FWERBLE?"
*basically asking why the wolf was hunting it*
The wolf growls.
*Saying hungry*
The octopus puts the wolf down. It points an arm at it, then at itself, shaking its head. It then points an arm at the wolf, then shapes itself to look like a monster. "FWERB FWERBLE BURBLE."
*lecturing it to eat monsters, not sentient creatures. It's a mimic octopus too*
