And yeah! Mana is spellcasting, most of the time. It can also be just anything with only a certain amount of uses. Like battery charge, if you want a more futuristic setting. Maybe ammo for a present day setting. It's just something that's more versatile than Prowess, but also only useable so much!

So far in the campaign I've run it's been mostly useless, since you only have so much to spend and most characters start with 5-10 mana unless they max it out
I am still working on it though and making it better ^^
That’s a good idea. Maybe you get a starting score of 5 or 10 in mana? Or every point you put in is doubled?
Ye ye! That's what I changed it to, that's what it should say in the doc
You have your mana level, then you have your man points which is twice mana level, and then you have your three mana types, combat, support, and utility, which increase specific attributes when using mana!
It's a bit complex, it'd be easier to show, I might try to run another campaign using this system when I'm done with this first one if you're interested, though it'd most likely be run over discord because that's personally easier for ne
I might be interested at some point… but I am unfortunately way too busy for a campaign for the next little while. It’s also a bit of a complex system, and I’ve never played anything besides 5e and 5.5e before. Thanks for the offer, though!
I'm hoping this campaign goes on for a while, I've got a whole thing planned out at the end where the final boss takes over one of the PCs and forces them to fight eachother! I'm hoping it won't be too much of a stretch, and I'm gonna really set it up throughout the story

I do think you probably could've put your foot down in the beginning when they wanted the artifact, I feel like you'd set the rules and they chose to disagree :( but that's just my opinion
