Around a small village of Accipidian followers of Bríz, near the Wilds of Eden, an Accipidian child is born. A baby girl, with a smile as wide as the sun and laughter that would bring a smile to even the saddest person’s face.
Unbeknownst to her parents, she wasn’t just a mortal. She was something more. And as she grew older, that became clear. When she was young, she ventured into the Wilds of Eden and came back sane. People believed that had changed her. She was stronger, more powerful, bolder. When she was eighteen, she joined the guard and fended off a wild beast attack single handedly.
Eventually, word of her exploits reached the gods… and some would come to recognize one of their own.
*Oooooooooo I would like to rp that*
*that’d work! I think it would be after her interaction with tempus tho.*
*this may be a dumb question, but for your Avatar statblock, does your slash attack deal one of BPS, or can you choose which one you use depending on the attack?* *This is a very dumb question but I am dumb soooo*
*One :), although combat won’t be a thing yet cause I’m reworking the abilities system.*
*Can I not kill reaper yet?*
*If you'd like we can just say he died and rp their interaction, or we could use stat blocks, but the og abilities were kinda OP so yea.*
*How 'bout it's like a cutscene? We rp the fight?*
*yea sure!*
Kather and a follower stand facing each other in the garden of unreality. Her other followers have evacuated the area
"I'm sorry I have to do this"
"It's for the greater good, right? No more death?"
She smiles. It doesn't reach her eyes. "Maybe you'll even come back. You know why I picked you, right?"
"Yeah. No family, no kids, no one'll miss me"
She nods, and pulls him into a hug. "No one but me" the tip of the spear energies out of his back, blood pooling on her poncho, as he goes limp. She gently lays him down, and pulls the spear out.
"I know you're there reaper. Do your job"
“Quite the assumption you made. Did you know that I do indeed wander? I do indeed talk? You don’t need to kill to call on me. But this whole endeavor is quite amusing.” His misty lips quirk into a smile. “Perhaps I should only come when a death happens. Anyways. What do you want? A god has… jobs, y’know. But hey, jobs are tedious. I’d much rather talk to my favorite mortal.”
"You must not know many mortals. And it's not like you people have a book on how to talk to you. Anyway, it's good you came."
She wipes her follower's blood of the spear. "He was a good person you know. When I told him what I needed, he understood. He didn't whine or cry, he stepped up, and sacrificed himself for the greater good"
She dons ignis' shield, a masterful buckler, with smoldering cracks, like scales or jaws
"This is just a roundabout way of saying what I need to. I'm going to kill you."
“How amusing.” Reaper grins. “And how do you intend to do that? I am far greater than you, a mortal, could ever be.”
"I'm glad you ask. And please, greater? A god would never sacrifice themselves like Cenos did"
She rushes forward with the buckler, the spear ready to catch a dodge
Reaper doesn’t even try to dodge, fading into mist. But what he doesn’t expect is for the spear to pierce him, ignoring the misty properties of his body. He stares down at his stomach. “W-what is this?”
*hope that’s okay, we can do something different if you’d like.*
*No, that's better than what I had in mind*
"I'm not sure. But it made the place around you. And now I know it can hurt you"
She drives the spear deeper
“A-augh!” He screams, his howls tearing through the trees. Perhaps this is the sound a god makes when they die.
"How does it feel? To experience mortality for the first time?"
She drives the reaper to the ground, standing over him, the spear buried inside
*How do it feel to be helpless? How does it feel to know pain?*

*Tempus time?*
*yup!*
A ticking of clocks was audible, and approaching, as a figure wandered to the edges of the city, dressed in a primarily blue suit, with black and gold accents, black fingerless gloves, and calf-hight short heeled shoes, along with a tophat with several ticking clocks turning gears on and inside it, the figure seemed almost Human, until you looked at their face, pale skin with a faint shine, one eye a almost unnatural vibrant blue, the arms of a clock visible ticking inside, and their other eye... Well it wasn't one. Instead, a clock ticked in its place, gears visible ticking behind the socket.

*Ignis would give the mortal better treatment than it would to a god*

*Perhaps we could set up like a future myth where Ignis forges something for the kiddo and he becomes a champion of Ignis, eventually dying, but his myth lasts forever? I think that’d need a bit of planning, but if you’re cool with it, I’d like to do it.*
