On a distant island, amid a roiling sea, a machine builds itself. A shining ziggurat, topped with a massive humanoid torso, its featureless face dominated by a single light-blue eye, a metal halo magnetically floating above its head. The entire complex is made of beaten bronze.
The machine opens its single eye, and a swarm of monocular drones pour from its entrances.
DEITY, god of knowledge and technology, is online (for the 6th time!)
