PALADIN BARBARIAN MULTICLASS

I dont have problems with the SMITE spells, I want to how to BUILD a Paladin with a 2/3 level dip into Barbarian, until level 8 or 9... NOTE: I want to start First Paladin and the second level as a Barbarian... Then how I SHOULD BUILD the rest?

Brutal Grip feat, and use a paladin attunement weapon in one hand and one of the two handed axes that get rage bonuses.   

Well, I’m thinking you’re mostly going for a pally who can rage, as opposed to a barbarian who can smite. At that point, I’d take pally to 6, that where the awesome happens as you get your aura. So pally1>barb 1>pally 2-6. After that, maybe you start in on Barb 2 or even 3. But it’s going to depend a lot on your subclass, and your role in the party. At pally 7, you get a subclass feature, so is that something you’ll use more than reckless attack?

I’m sure you already know, but these two classes don’t play well together. Besides the smite spells, you’re going to be very MAD. Barb needs str, pally needs str and cha to multiclass. Then Barb powers need you not in heavy armor, so you really want a 14 dex for the medium armor to be at its best, and you want a high con since you’ll be in the thick of the fight. So that’s going to leave you with a low int (not a big deal) and also a low wis (meaning you’re going to be failing saves against things that can basically take you out of the fight.) It will get a little better at pal 6 when you can add your cha bonus, but even then, it’s going to be a problem.
