Numeria has a long history of mystery and wonder buried under its rugged landscape, for on that one fateful night thousands of years ago, the Rain of Stars scarred the land. The fragmented remnants of a ship from beyond the stars fell from the sky, scattering strange technological ruins and deadly perils across the land. Today, these sites are feared by the barbaric tribes and coveted by the sinister spellcasters of the Technic League. Yet something worse than brutish berserker or super-science wizard has risen to power in these hidden technological halls. The Iron Gods are ready to make their presence known, and if they are not opposed by the region's newest heroes, a scourge unlike any the Inner Sea has seen will arise!
Welcome, one and all, to another DMWoja adventure. This time, I am converting the Pathfinder Adventure Path, Iron Gods, to 5e, and I am looking for a group of four players to take on the adventure. Interested applicants should review this free player's guide to get background info on the campaign. If you are interested, apply here with:
Character Name: Race: (PHB only, no dragonborn; my android conversion is also allowed) Class: (PHB, XGE, TCE only) Ability Scores: (point buy or standard array) Brief Backstory:
Starting level is 1, standard starting equipment, but you can sell it for half its value and spend the gold if you wish.
Brief Backstory: Therlendra grew up in the town of Torch. When she was a young teen she found she had a strange bond with the beasts found in the wilds around town. She began spending more and more time out there eventually only coming into town when she needed some supplies that she couldn't find in the wild. During a full moon one night she was granted a vision by the wild spirits resulting in her waking up as a wolf. For months she wandered in this state ultimately joining a pack. Again during a full moon she was visited by the wild spirits leaving her back in her human form and with the knowledge of how to change her shape into those of the beasts found in the wilds. Ever since she has been known around town as Howl.
Though I've pm'd you about a complication, putting my character forth in case things work out:
Character Name: Olivander "Vander" Harkness Race: Human Class: Wizard Ability Scores (Standard Array): 8 (Str), 14 (Dex), 10 (Con), 15 (Int), 12 (Wis), 13 (Cha) Brief Backstory: Olivander, though preferring Vander and despising the name "Ollie", was an exceedingly bright child raised among a group of scholarly individuals. He was raised directly by his uncle Dorian Harkness for most of his life, after his parents disappeared during his adolescence. He was raised in an environment dedicated to the study of the event known as the Rain of Stars and its aftermath, devoting their lives to unearthing and deciphering the secrets of the strange artifacts, metals and phenomena that the event brought. His parents disappeared in the pursuit of this knowledge and, rather than run away from it in fear, Vander decided to do them proud and learn what they could not: he would find out just what brought on the Rain. Now fully grown, he has set forth to delve into ruins and explore the unknown in search for answers...and maybe a cool artifact or two.
Character sheet will be made up when/if accepted, if that's okay
Class: Artificer (or Forge Cleric if you don't like Artificer)
Ability Scores: 10 14 14 17 12 8 (with modifiers)
Backstory: Designate M1-L0 (they refer to themself as Milo) just recently escaped from the Technic League. Arriving in Torch and stumbling into the Temple of Brigh, Milo found a home. The simple life of an acolyte is much preferred to that of a slave. Even though it has been months now, Milo still feels uncomfortable leaving the temple. When they do, they cover up completely so no one will stare too much. Milo has made a few friends among the inhabitants of Torch, whom they cherish dearly.
Character Name:Orifrac Strongbane Race: Mountain dwarf Class: Barbarian Ability Scores: point buy, 14 (Str), 13 (Dex), 14 (Con), 13 (Int), 11 (Wis), 8 (Cha) Brief Backstory: Orifrac comes from one of the barbarian mountain tribes, where he was raised by his parents to be a smith. His people worship Brigh. and so does he. During his studies regarding Brigh he has been told about the rain of stars, and the technology that was brought with it. Since first hearing of this he wanted to go out and search for new technologies and find out about there workings. Multiple times he went to Torch to get a look at the flame, and learn new methods, but he always returned to help his people. However, when he heard that the famous violet flame of Torch had gone out, he didn't hesitated for a moment, he went to Torch and volunteered to go into the caves below the hill to find out what happened.

A tinker by nature, a smith by apprenticeship, Numba was just as dismayed as everyone else when Khoonir disappeared. Fond of a good mysterious puzzle he eagerly packed his gear to volunteer for the search party.
Numba Knucklestamp, rock gnome tinker Rogue Technologist archetype
I got an idea for a Stars Druid, but I see you have a Druid already. Do you think you'd have room for two? It sounds like they are going to go with Moon by their backstory, so we would be pretty different. I'd been thinking of going with Half-Elf too, but I could go Hill Dwarf instead. And if you'd rather not have two Druids, it could kinda work as Twilight Cleric I guess.
Definitely interested, I used to play PF back in the day and this was one of the module i wanted to play but never got a chance.
Name: Maes
Race: Human V
Class: Rogue
Ability Score: Point Buy
Backstory: Maes has struggled most of his childhood, growing up alone as his family was killed by stange metallic creatures that roamed the area of Numeria. He made his way in the world with a band of thieves. They were rough but they taught him the values of knowing when to fight and when to run away. Eventually Maes would make his way Torch, there he found out one of the locals when missing. Perhaps his skills could help... with the right amount of coin.
