I have been getting more involved in these forum games and thought I'd run one as well. Like the title says, LMoP and I'd love to run people through who haven't done it yet (or started and didn't finish.)
I intend to post twice a day, usually at the start and end of the day, but sometimes things happen. I would like people who can post at least once a day.

Name: Ruby
Race: Halfling
Class: Rogue
Ability scores: standart aray (12 17 13 14 8 11)
Backstory: Ruby was living on the streets since she can remember, alone. Without any parents, she learned how to steal just to have something to eat. One day she managed to overhear some guys talking about a big ruby they stole from a noble man. After hearig that she decided to try and steal it from them but got caught trying to do so. The thiefs were not that angry since they saw potential in that little halfling girl. So, they took her in and even named her. It felt like she had a family but once she realised they were only using her, she knew she had to leave. Now she travels around, looking for a purpose in life or a place to belong.
Hello, I'm a 15 year old boy who'd like to join this pbp campaign for lost mines of phandelver. I've played dnd for 2 years now and I have no worries with the rules.
Race: Human Class/Subclass you plan on: Fighter, Battle Master
Backstory or character idea: My sibling and parents died to a black dragon and I want to get rid of all dragon within this world.
Backstory or character idea: Calantha was raised by her father in a small village. She never knew her Elven mother as she died in childbirth. Raised by her human father, Calantha has always felt more at ease with the human side of her heritage. All she knew of her mother was that she had been a hired adventurer before she met her father, fell in love, and got pregnant with Calantha. After she was born, her father, who had also taken up paid adventuring work, settled down to raise and protect Calantha. He took up work as a skilled blacksmith. Calantha was poised to follow in his footsteps and become a smith but the spirit of adventure must be passed in the blood, because she decided to take up adventuring herself and joined a band of mercenaries called the Singing Blades when she turned of age. As part of the Singing Blades, she has explored her fair share, but she's always been a bit uncomfortable with the gang's scrupulous morals. The Blades take any job, whether that be assassination or kidnapping or even worse. Everything went downhill when Calantha and a group of Blades were supposed to be guarding some "cargo" to be delivered to a wealthy nobleman, but Calantha discovered the cargo was actually a group of slaves! Infuriated, she quit on the spot, but not before freeing the slaves. The leader of the Blades, a human man named Dex Harcourt, is not such a forgiving man so Calantha was forced to flee her village for her and her father's safety. Now, with a price on her head and an empty coin purse, she knows she needs to make some coin fast and evade the Blades in the process!
Backstory or character idea: Kildrak is a younger dwarf, he serves the creator god Moradin by seeking knowledge and forging tribute items. He chose to leave dwarven society to sate his wanderlust and hopefully learn important things along the way
((manipulated dice rolls? it didn't show that originally and the only thing I changed was moving the backstory and the numbers are the same.....))
I started running it but only barely got through the first boss fight

Name; Malachite 'Mal' Terra
Race; Earth Genasi
Class; Fighter
Backstory;
Mal has always been a bit of a rebel, an adrenaline junkie and a fool, in his youth he joined the guard and quickly became a problem, he wasn't bad at it but he could sometimes go over board with hunting down suspects and solving cases and so when his eagerness overtook his need to be reserved and diligent, his commander thought to put his abilities to better use and shipped him off to fight as a soldier.
During his time as a soldier he learned how to fight, how to channel his energy and how to best use his skills, he had a long and prosperous career as a soldier going on many death defying missions and adventures always able to feed his thirst for adrenaline inducing excitement and things were great, and he was earning money doing the thing that he loved and then his age caught up to him before he knew it, it was over, he had finished his service and was spat back out into the world of the mundane and the everyday.
For a few more years mal lived as an old retired soldier who went into blacksmithing after his job was done, He liked making little tools and kitchen utensils, nails and hinges, the needs of a regular citizen, he enjoyed the money he had earned, he has a nice home, a small business, a few on again off again relationships (none of which ever work out properly) Mal lives in peace and comfort, which is how most would see it, but nothing quite measured up to the adrenaline one feels when their life is on the line, when you know any moment the breath you are taking could be your last.
Now, Mal in his comfortable years has lost the honed edge that a skilled soldier has and maybe he has become a little fat and out of breath sometimes, but that doesn't mean he cant have some adventures, right? Of course the armies wont have this crumbling old Earth Genasi back, but there are other options, and so after making himself some light chain armour and a few crude weapons and a shield, Mal sets off to prove to himself that he has still got it! and to seek excitement now as an adventurer instead of a soldier, lending his fighting expertise to those who may need it!
Oh I forgot to say, I'm completely new to LMoP, and most other published campaigns, I'm pretty new to PbP but I'm working it out, but I am an experienced player leaning more on Rp side of things, I've only ever really done homebrew campaigns before but if I get picked here I'm looking forward to what is in store.
All bits of backstory can be modified to better fit narrative if needs be and that's about it, thanks for the consideration! :)

Name: Ink
Race: Rock gnome
Class: Wizard (School of Conjuration)
Backstory: Ink's first foray into life as an adult, independent and away from his extensive family, was employment as a tutor in a prosperous human home. He soon learned that a few gold pieces per week were not worth the trouble of teaching a pair of lazy, mean-spirited siblings (siblings who found unending delight in addressing their tutor as 'Stink' rather than by his true name). So, when the winter break arrived, Ink submitted his resignation to the master of the house and set out to find a new and more fulfilling way to occupy his mind and days. "Maybe I should experience a bit more of Faerun and its people before I make up my mind about such things," he mused to himself as he set out for the next town ahead.
I haven’t played this campaign yet but I am a long time dnd player! Also my first play by post so I am still learning how to do that too! :)
Race: Female Lightfoot Halfling
Name: Chensica Fastfingers
Class: Bard
Attributes: 9, 18, 11, 10, 11, 19
Backstory: Chensica ran away from home as a young gal to seek her own way in life, and easily picked up the instrument and found she had a very easy talent with song. So much so that she easily made a living off of it. She soon found herself mixed up with a crowd who used her talents for their own gains. She became quite good at deceiving others but, she saw the error of her ways, especially after being caught attempting to trick a (unbeknownst to her) powerful wizard. However, he showed her grace and kindness. Seeing her gift in music, the wizard decided to give her the funds necessary to receive proper training at the bard academy. Chensica left her criminal lifestyle to pursue a career as a performer and adventurer, with her goal of paying back the wizard for all that he did for her. However old habits die hard, and it would not shock those who know Chensica to see her choose fortune and fame over her comrades . She usually comes around though.
Hello, I have played Dnd for 6 months now, and GURPS when I was younger. I have never done LMoP or any other official module for that matter. I work from home with flexible hours, so would have no problem engaging throughout the day every day. I am interested in looking for a long play-by-post campaign, but this looks like the perfect way to get used to the medium. If you still have room, I would love to participate!
15 14 13 10 15 8
Name: Crom Dergu (Tentan)
Race: Half-orc Class: Ranger/Hunter
Backstory: Crom never quite fit in as the only half-orc in his tribe. His orcish mother, Dergu, and his human father, Merrick Tentan, were brought together in an attempt at a diplomatic union to ease tensions between their respective peoples. For a time, they were content. But shortly after Crom was born, diplomacy broke down. With renewed conflict on the horizon Merrick favoured his duty towards his people over his responsibility for his family.
So it was that Crom grew up around orcs who distrusted and ostracized him for his mixed heritage. Crom, for his part, disliked their brutality and hatred. When he turned 15, he decided enough was enough, and left like his father before him, setting out on his own to see if he would be more accepted among the humans. But brutality and hatred turned out not to be unique to the orcs.
Equally shunned by human civilization, but certain he was no longer welcome back home, Crom did what he could. And there is always someone willing to take advantage of someone's desperation for a bit of coin. Crom found himself making ends meet through unsavory mercenary work. In particular, it seemed the best way for him to gain even a half-measure of acceptance from the other races was to take on jobs hunting down orcs. There was just one problem. After clumsily hunting down his first mark, Crom cornered the orc with his bow raised, arrow pointed between the orc's eyes... and he couldn't do it. Not like that, murdering another who had done no harm, in cold blood. So he smuggled the orc out of the area, warning him not to return lest someone with fewer scruples take on the job next. Ever since, he has been sleeping out in the woods, coming into town to check for any job postings that would take him, and gaining a reputation as an orc-hunter. Though he has continued secretly faking the deaths of his targets and helping them relocate.
He hopes to someday find acceptance and a more fulfilling occupation, but for now he is still living one job at a time.
Growing up with a tribe of wanders, I learned the art of thievery and deception at an early age. Shunned by the other children, especially the girls, my older sister Trynyra always stuck up for me. When I was about to be married, Trynyra stole my beloved and ran off with him. I ran away from the tribe, shattered and broken. That's when I swore my revenge. I would take everything from her and make her watch as I did so.
Backstory or character idea: Lia is an orphan. Her parents were killed when a rival village raided the town when she was a young girl. She was taken in by an older man whom she called grandfather. He taught her the ways of the Ranger, training her in the bow, the blade, and the spell. As a girl, Lia showed a tremendous amount of potential and was quite adept in all the skills. When she came of age, she went out into the world offering her services as a protector to those who would pay for them.

Hey!
Not sure if you mean Gestalt, which isn't really supported by 5e.
There are multiclass rules and as long as you meet the restrictions (high enough stat) I am okay with multiclasses.
I am going to leave this open for a while longer (14 hours or so from this post,) and then close it down.
Thank you so much everyone for your great submissions, I will reach out to party members with PMs afterwards.
