This is more of an interest check and it'll probably lead to a campaign if there are more than enough interesting characters.
Few things to note before moving on. First I'm french so my English may not be the best for some of you but I'll strive to be precise and clear in my explanations and descriptions.
Second, this is going to be my first time DMing a play by post (Been gaming and DMing for a long time though) so you'll have to bear with me.
The Lost City campaign will be set in a dungeon that has been rediscovered just north of Daggerdale in Fearun. You are amongst the first to go in, having just heard of it and wanting to try your luck but fate, in the form of an earthquake, has sealed you all in, together. You'll be starting in a room deep in the earth with the few things you have been able to take before going in. Remember that this is going to be a Dungeon Crawl and that some characters have no reason to go in. I want to make it about discovery and survival but you'll also have some social interactions also with the intelligent denizen of the caves, if you find them, but more importantly among yourselves so keep that in mind when deciding to enter the game (it's not like many other more classics games in that sense). I'll be using an expanding map (some kind of fog of war, not sure yet on that ) to keep track of your movements so please try not to make several parties of 1.
Called it Lost City because it's going to revolve around ( or more to the point in ) one of the buried city of the lost empire Netheril.
Players will start at 1st level and you'll be gaining levels through milestones. Use the 27 point to create that character. You characters know each other and they have decided to go adventuring together.
For Posts: 1 every two days at least would be nice
Salut comment allez-vous? (my French is poor so we can help one another right?)
My character would be a tiefling ranger that possibly wants to multi-class into a warlock if we get their narratively! I'll post a character sheet ASAP I'm on mobile and the site is glitchy for me right now!! Do you have Google drive to view shareable links? Also starting equipment package or starting gold?

Yep I got Google Drive. For equipment or gold either way.
I'd like to submit an eladrin rogue, probably going towards an inquisitive at Level 3, I can send the sheet via Google drive too if that's ok in a few hours

Hallo, I would be interested in playing a gnome wizard, but do you have any idea when you want to start playing? I'll be mostly unavailable during 24-28th Jan next week. Also, I'm very new to the forum here.

I was going to start around the 22th. Post your character we ll find a way for you to start a bit later.if need be. You could be stunned or incapacitated. Just an idea
Either one is fine, it really depends on how you see it. 6 is just before it gets to be a bit much to handle so 6 would be ideal, as would 5 if you dont want to be on the boundary of it being too mcuh

Lyreis - Level 6 Elf Fighter - Eberron: Omega
DM - Dzenda: The Cracks - DM - Dzenda: Whispered Tales
Eldarin Rogue seems like a good idea. I've always liked the inquisitive too.
PM me to give me the link to your character.

Awesome. Sign me up then. I would like to play a Barbarian half orc.
If I create the character on here, can I share a link with you to view it? If not I can just send the PDF over

Now I m asking a question for the more experienced players.
Should I stop at 5 players or 6. My feeling is that more are going too much.
Any thoughts?

I would like to try a half-elf cleric or goliath barbarian if you are willing to have either.
