Surrounded by dense forests to the west, a sprawling lagoon to the east, and mountains to the north and southwest, lies the city of Miniry. Miniry has existed here for centuries, under the rule of the Valerians. Miniry does not partake in slave trade, and it welcomes people from all races and backgrounds without judgement, making it a perfect place to start over.
On the main square of Miniry stands a portal, which leads to the shiny city of Halcyon, situated in a pocket dimension within Miniry. This is where the elite and the rich seek their refuge from the world, living a life of luxury and ease.
In the forest to the west, a cave entrance leads to an elaborate labyrinth, which in turn leads to the Underdark and the city of Drealox. Drealox is a refuge for the more questionable figures and while it frowns upon slave trade, other shady business might be conducted here.
These three cities together form the Tri-Cities, though to outsiders the city is mostly known as Miniry.
Being a refuge and a place to start over comes not without its dangers. The success of being a free city is in constant peril. Monsters, intrigue, assassins, and people's background catching up with them constantly put the Tri-Cities at risk. To protect the Tri-Cities, three guilds have formed, who are always eager to add more adventurers to their ranks.
- The Rising Dawn - Headquarters in Miniry, known for their inclusion and readiness to always protect everyone who needs it. - The Golden Scales - Headquarters in Halcyon, known for their reputation for magic, success and wealth. - The Seven Daggers - Headquarters in Drealox, known for its protection of the Underdark, questionable tactics and thirst for power.
The tri-cities call for your aid! Word has reached your ears that the Tri-Cities are in need of more adventurers. Protect the town, help solve the city's problems, work together with the other adventurers in town and go on adventures while making friends along the way. Choose which guild to join, or decide to fly solo! Missions will be free to all who wish to help, but joining a guild will grant you access to their facilities and room and board for free.
Upon entering Miniry you will hear tall tales of adventurers slaying dragons, giant turtles and an evil hag. Tensions seem to always run high, problems are plenty. Will you swear to protect the Tri-Cities to the best of your abilities? Will you answer the call?

You are having a drink at an inn. Boom! Suddenly, a large dark figure opens the door and starts demanding everyone leave…
Etny looks up from her mug of now-warm ale, having been lost in thought for...her brows knit as she tries to recall how much time has passed, but, as with so much in her life right now, it all just escapes. Eyeing the large figure carefully, she slowly sets her mug down, and with her left hand, begins to idley touch the hilt of one of her daggers. She was never one to back down from a fight, but she was better at piercing things (or people...or creatures) at a longer distance than these daggers could afford her. The wooden handcrafted bow at her back with a full quiver of arrows at her hip mockingly reminds her of this fact. A long spear leans just out of reach, her preferred close-up fighting weapon. No, the daggers would have to do. She continues to eye the dark figure, and slowly stands up, both hands now gripping the hafts of both of her daggers. [By the All-Mother,] she curses inwardly at her misfortune.
Standing resolutely before the dark figure, she speaks up.
"A'i!" she calls out, "what business, a'i'ata'on, do you have sending people out of this place?" Etny levels a sharp gaze at the intruder. "Are you so bothered by people enjoying their ale in peace? Ara'a, come. What is your business...or problem?"

Davary is abruptly pulled out of her meditative state, finding herself reclining in the corner of the inn, her cloak shrouding her face. The disturbance has ignited her heart, causing it to race anxiously, desperately hoping that no harm befalls anyone or that a physical altercation doesn't erupt. While she's usually swift to escape from unfavorable situations, she acknowledges that this one could potentially endanger everyone involved. In line with her monastic teachings, she is compelled to offer assistance, even if reluctantly.
With a firm grip on the pearl-embellished dagger fastened to her hip, she rises to a seated position. Approaching the individual at the door cautiously, she extends her open hand as a gesture of peace. "Is there an issue, my friend?" she stammers, her voice betraying a hint of nervousness. "Perhaps we can find a resolution without resorting to violence," she adds. Taking a closer look at the figure before her, she notes their imposing stature, far larger than her goblin frame. They could effortlessly overpower or restrain her if given the opportunity. She'll need to act swiftly, but that should pose no challenge for her.

This seems really interesting, but unfortunately I'm just a few months shy of eighteen. Do you think this would still be open by mid-August?

She stands, waiting for the figure's answer.
